Glass Jaw frequently asked questions
By the Glass Jaw development team · Updated August 28, 2026
What is Glass Jaw?
Glass Jaw is a retro MMA career simulation. You create a fighter, improve their skills, accept fights, climb the rankings, compete for titles, and eventually retire. The League is a shared online world where each rival has a real manager. The solo career sim is a single-player version at playglassjaw.com/solo.
Is Glass Jaw free?
Yes. The League and the solo sim are both free to play. The League offers optional in-app purchases of gold; the solo sim has none.
Do I need an account?
The League creates a guest account for you the moment you build a fighter, so you can start playing in seconds; linking an email or a sign-in later keeps that account across devices and the mobile app. The solo sim needs no account at all.
Do I need to download anything?
No. Both games run in a modern web browser on desktop or mobile-sized screens. The League is also available as the Glass Jaw app for iPhone and Android, on the same account.
Where is my career saved?
League careers live on your account, on our servers. Solo careers are stored in your browser’s local storage on that device — use the export option in Settings to make a backup before clearing browser data or moving to another browser.
How do I reach the WFL?
Build your record through amateur and regional competition. Continued success leads to stronger opponents and, eventually, the World Fighting League rankings and title picture.
How are fights decided?
A fight can end by knockout, technical knockout, submission, or decision. When it reaches the final bell, the result comes from the judges’ round-by-round scorecards.
How can I report a bug or suggest an improvement?
Open the Feedback tool inside either game. Messages go to the developer and may inform future updates.
